Metal bond

Metal bonds are composed of a bronze base to which one or more additives are added (cobalt, graphite ...). They are a combination of metal components in fine particulates, in more or less hard powder form, depending on the desired application. The sintered powders are a result of combining temperature and pressure which allows the particles to join together without fusing the materials.
